Welcome to our new series - one that confronts our indecision, breaks our addiction to second opinions, and dares us to treat the Word of God like it's already settled.
The Settled Series isn’t a motivational pep talk. It’s not about finding feel-good verses that fit our lifestyle. It’s a challenge to believe what God has already said, and to stop acting like we’re still waiting for confirmation.
The Premise: If God Said It - It’s a Done Deal
Day 1 sets the tone with a straight-up, no-fluff question: "What more are you hoping to hear?” We don’t have a hearing problem, we have a trust problem. We delay obedience, not because God hasn’t spoken, but because we’re still hoping for a softer version of the truth. We want backup plans. We want loopholes. But God’s Word is not a rough draft - it’s the final say “All Scripture is inspired by God…” – 2 Timothy 3:16–17 (NLT).
We’re reminded that the Bible is not just ancient text, it’s the most verified, attacked, preserved, and powerful book in human history. It doesn’t need edits - it needs faith. It doesn’t need softening - it needs courage to live it.
What the Series Will Unpack
While more days are still being written, this series is designed to walk you through:
The power of taking God at His Word even when you don’t fully understand it.
The tension between faith and feelings and how the Word cuts through both.
The danger of edited convictions - how we customise Scripture to fit comfort.
How spiritual delay is often disobedience in disguise.
Each devotional will confront a mindset or behaviour that keeps us from fully standing on God’s Word and will offer practical, sharp steps to realign your life with what’s already been spoken.
This Series Is For You If...
You’ve been stuck in a cycle of indecision, waiting for a “sign” instead of obeying the Scripture that’s already clear.
You’re tired of Christian clichés and want real, Bible-based confrontation that leads to transformation.
You’ve allowed fear, culture, or comfort to delay obedience.
You want to walk in bold, grounded, spiritual authority - not just sing about it.
Final Word
If God said it, stop negotiating. Stop browsing the Bible like it’s optional advice. Open it like your next breath depends on it - because spiritually, it does. The Word still works. The truth still stands. Now it’s your turn to respond like it’s already settled.
